Hey All! This has been a whirlwind year. Summer 2006 was great. We had about 8,500 campers make decisions for Christ. Praise God! I also got to help teach a Bible study for the interns. That was a great experience. As you all know we had another baby. His name is Ethan James Lambert, and he was born September 23rd, 2006. He is growing like a weed, and at almost 5 months he is already almost crawling. It is exciting and scary at the same time. He is getting better at sleeping through the night so we are getting better rest. Ben is 2, and is amazing us every day with all the things he is learning every day. These boys steal my heart everyday. I am staying home with the boys right now. I do some projects for Riverbend here at the house when I have time. I am hoping to get back into challenge course again because I enjoy it so much. We have joined a new church. We are members here at First Baptist in Glen Rose. It is a great church with such a heart for missions both here in Glen Rose and around the world. I am excited about getting involved. In March we are going to take Benjamin camping for the first time. That should be fun. In May of this year Brad and I will be having our 10 year wedding anniversary. We are going to really celebrate it in October by going on a cruise for 5 days. We are really excited. This will be our 7th summer here at Riverbend. It is exciting to think of all that it may hold.

2006
I am doing well. We are coming up on our 6th summer here at Riverbend. We had a scare this holiday season. It has been so dry out here that wildfires broke out in many areas of the state, but two of them were around the Glen Rose area. One of them came within 100 yards of the camp and our house. We are blessed that the camp was spared. Other people were not so blessed. I am staying at home for the most part, and the routine has been good. My days have stayed more full than I expected. I have enjoyed spending so much time with Benjamin. He is growing so fast and is learning a lot. I have been going to a ladies Bible study on Wednesday evenings and it has been so good for me. I have enjoyed getting back into the Word more, as well as get a small break from baby world. I am hoping to get more into challenge course as well for a day or two a week. I enjoy it so much, and it gives me a chance to teach informally. I have also been keeping a blog on www.xanga.com/skidiamonds. It is a fun way to keep in touch with people. We are getting a new bathroom added onto the house. I am excited about it. I know...simple pleasures. That is about the extent of the big picture of my world right now. Check out my blog for more details.
2005
Well Benjamin is getting bigger. He is growing so fast and learning a lot. My family doesn't get to seem him too often. Brad's family gets to see him pretty often, and it is funny to see them vying for a chance to hold him. Brad and I celebrated our 8 year anniversary this year. We spent a week on Lake Texoma and a day in Dallas at the Dallas World Aquarium. Brad surprised me by renting a 2005 Mustang to drive around in all day. It was gorgeous! We had a great time.
2004
I finished my time at Fossil Rim Wildlife Center in January. I miss it there, but needed to get away from the stress. I am still a docent (volunteer) there so I still do occasional tours. That was my favorite part of the job anyway.
We have been back at Riverbend since 2003 and are glad to be back. We missed the people, the atmosphere, and the work.
